This simple homemade french fry seasoning is so easy to make and can be used for both fresh and frozen fries. With just a few basic ingredients, you will be able to create a unique and flavourful seasoning that will make your fries irresistible. Once you've tried it, you won't want to eat fries any other way!

Ingredients
Adjust Quanities

2 tsp onion salt
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp dried oregano
½ tsp dried thyme
½ tsp dried basil
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Method

  • These instructions apply to frozen or fresh homemade french fries.
  • Use a pastry brush to lightly coat the french fries with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle french fry seasoning as evenly as you can over the fries and bake at 400°F (204°C) until warm and golden brown. about 20 minutes.
  • Have the combined french fry seasoning ready and use a slotted spoon to remove the fries from the oil once they are golden-brown.
  • Place them on a plate lined with paper towels and sprinkle them immediately with french fry seasoning.
